If I was ever asked what my biggest passion is (next to God and family, of course), I would say it is definitely photography. I LOVE capturing memories. I especially love the real moments…you know the ones that you capture when your subjects aren’t paying attention to you. The moments that tell a story. The moments that show laughter and fun. The moments that when you look back on the photo, you remember exactly what was happening at that exact time. That is my passion, and that is my goal always when photographing my clients.
As for a little about me…I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. My husband, Mike, and I have been happily married for 30 years. We have two grown children and two precious grandchildren, who I absolutely love to photograph. They are the sun, moon, and stars all rolled into one! My grandson and my daughter were actually my very first clients when I made the decision to purchase my first camera.
What I thought was just going to be a hobby for me became more of a second career rather quickly. I work a full-time job for a web design company, which I call my “day job” photography is what I like to refer to as my “play job.” Since my children are grown, God knew exactly what I needed to fill all of my free time of once being a full-time mom. I am so grateful and so thankful for God’s gift, that I didn’t even really know I was going to need until He gave it to me, and I give Him all of the glory for my success and being able to do something that I love.
